That big smile says it all! 🥹💖✨

38 Sparkle Dancers are getting ready to shine at their pulse_danceevents ballet, tap & cheer competition at the beautiful Burnley Mechanics Theatre today, and we couldn’t be prouder. So much work has gone into each and every class, private lesson and countless hours of dancing at home just for today.

Let’s get behind our dancers! Parents, family & friends, please comment below with your good luck wishes for our little stars as they take to the stage 🍀

Let’s fill the comments with love, encouragement and lots of sparkle to show them we’re all cheering them on! 🫶🏼

Mrs Harriet started Sparkle Dance in 2015 with one simple belief…dance should be accessible to everyone. 💗

Nearly 12 years later, so much has changed, but that original value remains at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why we have our FREE Uniform Swap Shop – a space where families can take whatever they need, whenever they need it, completely free of charge. Families can also donate outgrown items to be loved by another dancer.

From ballet, tap, jazz and street shoes to leotards, hoodies, T-shirts and costumes, we have lots of pre-loved treasures waiting for their next little star.

Because at Sparkle Dance, we believe every dancer deserves the chance to shine ✨

Our Sparkle Dance App is officially LIVE!

Last night, we launched our brand-new app, and it’s safe to say our test group of 22 parents are LOVING it! 🥹💖

We’ve already shared our very first class photo through the app and awarded our first two virtual shoutouts, now proudly sitting at the top of our shoutout leaderboard! 👏🏆

And this is only the beginning!

📱 Mid-November: We’ll be opening the app to 100 users.
🎄December: It’s time for ALL our Sparkle Dance families to join us!

We’re so excited to take Sparkle into this next chapter, bringing our dance family even closer together with a whole new way to share, celebrate and stay connected. 💕

WHY SHOULD YOUR DANCER TAKE PART IN STREET DANCE COMPETITIONS?

It’s about so much more than trophies! 🏆

✨ Building confidence
💪 Developing resilience
🤝 Learning teamwork
🎶 Performing under pressure
🔥 Pushing themselves
❤️ Making friendships & memories

Not every competition will end with a trophy and that’s okay.

Because the real win is watching your child become braver, stronger and more confident every time they step onto that dance floor.

It’s not just about how they dance… it’s about who they become 💖

Our next event is on Saturday 5th December. All dancers attending Street dance classes are welcome to enter. Entries close 15th October. Register your dancer via the link below⬇️

This October 26th - 31st, we’re going to Wear It Pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, alongside our much-awaited Parent Participation Week!

We’re asking all dancers and participating grown-ups to wear something PINK to class! It could be a pink T-shirt, leggings, tutu, socks, hair accessory - anything you have!

Students are welcome to bring one grown-up along to class throughout the week to join in and experience their class for themselves. There’s no need to book your place just turn up ready to dance!

We’ll be putting all our brave grown-ups through their paces, so you can see exactly what your dancer is learning.

Please note that in busy classes taking place in Studio B or C, if lots of adults would like to participate, we may need to ask you to join in smaller groups to ensure there is enough space for all of our dancers.

We can’t wait to see everyone Wear It Pink and get involved!
