Thank you to everyone who supported our venture with The Badapple Travelling Theatre Company on Friday evening who performed “The Thankful Village” at The Cross Keys, which was very well received by all those who were present. We raised an amazing sum of £470 for The Rosemere Cancer Foundation. A very big thank you to Dan, Meg and all the staff at the Cross Keys Inn

You’re welcome! Thank you to all of our Dirty Dusting audiences for contributing to this donation too 👏

Thank you to all involved at local amateur dramatic society The Whitechapel Players, who recently handed over a wonderful £1,000 donation to us! 🙌

🎭 They raised £700 of their donation by organising an interval raffle during November’s three-night run of their production of “Dirty Dusting” at Whitechapel Village Hall, a risqué comedy that proved to be a huge audience hit. The donation was topped up to £1,000 with £300 from the group's funds, following a vote.

The show was directed by longstanding player Jenny File, who is currently a patient at the Rosemere Cancer Centre here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she is being treated for lung cancer. Jenny’s experience inspired the fundraising. Jenny said: “My treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre has been brilliant.

“I’m very grateful to all the staff for their care and to members of the Whitechapel Players and everyone who has helped to raise this donation.”

Thank you so much to all of you for this generous gift in support of local cancer care! ❤🙏
