A thriving & inclusive creative hub which fully supports grassroot singers, rappers & bands via our full spectrum of services (recording, rehearsal, label, video, live). Mayfield Records Ltd (MRL) represents an innovative approach to new music production by way of a sustainable creative hub; incorporating recording studio, house-band, record label, video production services, live-streaming facilit

ies and a wealth of talented up and coming artists with the central aim of producing fresh, new music with melody and meaning at its core. Our aim is to support and promote emerging UK artists; releasing their music and securing significant streaming revenues across all DSPs. ABOUT THE LABEL
"Since we operate as a creative hub, which includes a professional recording studio, the vast majority of label releases come via the studio. I'm in and out of the studio on most days and every now and then, an artist catches my attention. It's at that point, that I'll have an initial conversation about releasing on the label. Keeping our releases 'home grown' as it were, allows for a more organic approach. I'm also keen for releases, irrespective of genre to have an identifiable sound associated with our team and facilities." Dominic Elton MRL Director

“There is an impressively consistent stream of new releases emanating from the label.”
Fresh On The Net

“Incorporating a recording studio, house-band, record label and video production, Mayfield Records is the perfect hub for creatives.”

This is part of our ongoing Arts Council England funded supporting grassroots music initiative. Thank You 🙏

“ADHD is a deeply personal track exploring my journey to understanding a part of myself that had influenced my life long before I knew why.

After receiving my ADHD diagnosis and starting medication at 36, so many experiences suddenly made sense. I wrote the song to express some of the emotions, challenges and thoughts that can come with neurodiversity, while creating something that people with ADHD can connect with and others can use to better understand it.

I wanted the track to be honest and vulnerable, but also empowering. Musically, ADHD takes me somewhere different, with a rock edge that steps outside my usual R&B/soul sound and showcases another side of me as an artist and vocalist.

My hope is that the song makes people feel seen, understood and perhaps a little less alone — while opening up a conversation about ADHD and neurodiversity.”
