On Friday 8th May, join us at Guildhall Squared for Habitat Harbours Co-Create with Artecology and City Arts Portsmouth.

Drop in between 10am–3pm and make textured clay pieces that will become part of real marine habitats in Portsmouth Harbour. Simple actions, real impact. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.

Alongside this, Between the Stops runs 5th–8th May, bringing together photography and poetry drawn from everyday journeys across the city. A full reference collection of the books will be available to browse throughout the exhibition.

On Friday, you can take a piece of it with you.
Books, postcards and badges will be available to buy, with all proceeds supporting future community projects like this.

You can also add your own voice. Use a THIS IS MY• (stop) postcard to contribute your own words to the Between the Stops story.

A project that usually moves… is stopping by for you to visit

Between the Stops brings together photography and poetry shaped by Portsmouth’s everyday journeys. Work that often slips past on buses is gathered here, held still long enough to be properly seen.

Across the week, you can spend time with the photographic work in one place, alongside a full reference collection of the books available to browse throughout the exhibition. It’s a chance to read, reflect, and follow the connections between image and word.

You can also take part. Add your own words within the theme Between the Stops using a THIS IS MY• (stop) postcard and become part of the growing conversation.

On Friday, books and badges will be available to buy or collect (if you already purchased yours). Every purchase feeds directly back into the work, helping to support and grow future projects like this across the city.
