✨ As Volunteer Week comes to an end, and our beloved No.6 Cinema has also closed its doors for the Summer so that our fantastic volunteers can take a well-deserved break, we want to take a moment to thank every single one of them, past and present, who truly remain the building blocks of our cinema. We couldn’t do any of it without them 🖤

No.6 Cinema is such a huge part of our lives, which is why so many of our volunteers have been with us for years! We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication. So this is to thank all of them for all they do 🖤

We will be back, and we will have more news soon, so do please keep an eye on our social media, our website, and our weekly newsletter to be the first to hear more…. 👀

The final week of our Summer Season is here! ☀️

Our volunteers will all be taking a very well deserved break over the Summer, but before we do, we have two brilliant films that you won’t want to miss on the big screen, and truly, we mean that because we’ll be in a bigger screen for our final week!

🎥 On Thursday at 7pm, join us for HAMLET, an electrifying reimagining of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, set in the world of a British South Asian Family in contemporary London, starring Riz Ahmed in the lead role.

🎥 Friday at 7pm, we will truly be going out with a bang with our screening of ROCKY. Tickets have been selling very fast for this one, and we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of this much-loved classic by bringing it to No.6 Cinema!

❗️ We know what you’re thinking: where do I go to get my non-multiplex fix of quality cinema come September? We wish we could follow old Frank by saying that we know the answer and, ‘of that I’m certain’. But we don’t, at the time of writing, know the specifics of exact date in September, but we will keep you updated via this newsletter, on the website and via social media.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to No.6 soon, and we do hope that you’ll all be able to join us for our final week. Support our cinema and see us go out with a bang! 🎥
