Today we are ecstatic to launch The BASE! Following a £1.3million investment, the basement of Portsmouth Guildhall has been transformed into The BASE, an exciting, new creative space for 11-25 year olds.

A safe and welcoming space, The BASE provides access for young people to a band room with backline equipment, a production studio with a DJ mixing space, a multimedia suite with specialist software, a performance space and a lounge/exhibition area.

A huge thank you to our supporters: Arts Council England, Portsmouth City Council, Foyle, The Clothworkers Foundation, Benedetti Architects, Chalk, Youth Music, Equals, and HemingwayDesign

Do you want a make a positive difference to your community? Gig Buddies Portsmouth are looking for more Volunteers to join our project. As a Volunteer, you would be matched to an adult with a learning difficulty to help them to make new friends and increase their social circle.
