Bransbury Park Trains We are Portsmouth Model Engineering Society. We run miniature trains for the public. We charge £1 per person for twice round our track.

We run 3.5 and 5 inch gauge steam and electric locos for the public every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday during British Summer Time.

Morning everyone! And it's looking like a good one, and the beginning of a much better week.

We'll be making the most of it at the track between our now usual hours of 1 and 4pm. Why not link a visit in with any of the other events in the area - the Bandstand, Bus Tour, Tufting Workshop, Boot Sales the Dockyard or Portsmouth 100's Time Travellers event (other events are available).

And with the exam season ending this week we hope you have all been successful and get the results you need. Time to relax now!

Good morning! So where did the Bank Hol weather go then?

Did anyone bother with the outside world yesterday? If so - wow, brave and, have you dried out yet?

On the bright side, and when I say bright I probably mean overcast, the weather is much better today - small chance of rain - before it goes back to soggy for the rest of the week. So that makes it the perfect day to pop out for a while, maybe down to the park?!

Assuming the track hasn't been washed or blown away we'll be there from 1 to 4pm as usual hoping you'll join us.

Morning all! Hope you made the most of the lovely weather yesterday. I managed to get a few red bits that still feel a little warm.

It's due to be a little more overcast and cooler today, which may not be a bad thing if you're thinking of going out.

We'll be out of course, down at the park from 1 to 4pm as usual, so do please pop over for a ride or two, we're always pleased to see you. And as we move into June it won't be too long now before the play area returns.

Good morning! And a very good one it is too. Actually decent weather for a Bank Holiday! Hope you're all enjoying it.

So if you're out making the most of it between 1 and 4pm today why not join us for the first 'Factor 50' run of the year? Come and have a ride, catch the breeze as you travel through the trees!

And being a Bank Holiday (last til August, boo) you can have another go tomorrow, the weather is due to be as good if not better than today.

Make the most of it - this could be summer!

Good morning to you all! Who missed me last week then? 😂Apologies, I had to catch a ferry and I just ran out of time to write.

Apologies also for the lack of a weather cancellation post. Communication breakdown I'm afraid and for what it's worth I had glorious sunshine on my journey!

And that's what we are hoping for today although the forecast does have a rain drop on it for later. All being well that will wait until after we pack up.

You may also have noticed the change to the fundraising poster above - Portsmouth Council have offered to match your donations pound for pound up to £10,000, so it's like you'll be donating twice! Thanks to them and all of you who have given or are planning on giving - every little helps! Now where have I heard that before?

For now we look forward to seeing you this afternoon at the park from 1 to 4. Otherwise have a great rest of the weekend.

Morning! Little later today as the weather looked a little unpleasant earlier.

Anyway, it's looking less ominous, though there is a threat of rain, but on the whole pretty much the same as yesterday.

Still, it's Bank Holiday! Don't waste it! We'll be there again today from 1 to 4pm so pop down, say hi and have a ride. There's plenty else going on in Southsea so add us to your itinerary!

Good morning! Just an early quickie from me again.

Hope you're all enjoying the Bank Holiday so far (with our thanks to those of you working it as ever). The weather is so far traditional Bank Holiday - sun to get you out then lash rain on you!

There's a threat of a little rain again this afternoon but hopefully it won't come to much. We'll be running from 1 to 4 as is now usual, though if the rain persists we'll let you know here.

Do come down and have a ride, we're in between the building site and the building site! And don't forget the Bank Holiday Bonus run tomorrow if the weather gives us a break!

Good morning once again. I hope you are all having a great weekend - the weather is improving and Pompey have won three matches in a week!

It should be a reasonably sunny afternoon and quite warm, with the wind having dropped. One might almost say the perfect weather to pop on a train at the park! We will, as is the new usual, be there from 1 until 4pm and look forward to welcoming you. Do come down, have a ride, have a chat, whatever you fancy.
