Bransbury Park Trains We are Portsmouth Model Engineering Society. We run miniature trains for the public. We charge £1 per person for twice round our track.

We run 3.5 and 5 inch gauge steam and electric locos for the public every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday during British Summer Time.

Morning! I've managed to keep up with the days this week so this is just a reminder that our second Wednesday run will be happening today between 12 and 3pm in the usual place (because we can't really move the track 😄)

It's a little cooler today so good to get out and about without melting! Hope to see you there.

Morning all! Another lovely day ahead, the weather is definitely being kind to us this year. If you're missing rain it is currently available in Ireland I believe!

Looks like the Steam Railway Weekend at Fareham was a success, hope you had a great day if you went to that.

We're back again as ever this afternoon from 1 til 4pm at the park and would love to see you there. Don't forget (unlike I nearly did!) we are also running on Wednesdays in August if you can't make Sunday, or just fancy an extra ride.

Afternoon! A late reminder from somone who thought it was still Tuesday that our Wednesday running starts today!

We are there now until 3pm, so if you're quick you might just catch one!

Wednesday running continues until the end of August but at the 12 to 3pm time rather than the Sunday norm.

I'll try and keep up next week...

Good morning! Hope you're having a lovely weekend, still making the most of the weather and not burnt to a crisp yet!

It seems there's a threat of something called rain in the next hour or so, been a while since I typed that! Might be quite nice. It is short lived though so don't miss it! We'll be fine this afternoon for your train rides - from 1 to 4pm - so do please pop down and see us.

And don't forget we start Wednesday running this week if you're up for that - same as Sunday but on a Wednesday and from 12 to 3pm. We'd love to see you then.

So have a good week whatever you may be up to now we're in school hols (it's only 6 weeks whatever it feels like!), at least we have good weather to keep them occupied!

Morning! Didn't think I was going to be able to post this morning (no cheering!) with Facebook down, but it's back in time for a quickie.

So - good football result yesterday, shame we didn't play like that Wednesday, but at least we returned the compliment in the Rugby! T20 cricket results not going Hampshire's way again either.

Ok, sport over! Why not enjoy an afternoon away from the TV as the weather is still good - only early to mid 20s today - which makes a visit to the beach or any one of many events a good isea, especially when combined with a trip to the park for a train ride!

We are there as usual from 1 to 4pm and we'd love to see you. Come and have some train fun! See you later?!

Good morning! Still pretty warm out there isn't it? It looks set to continue for most of the week, though gradually getting a little cooler.

If you do find yourself out this afternoon and fancy a train ride you'll find us hiding in the shade of the tree in the park! Any time between 1 and 4pm.

And our friends at Fareham are holding their annual steam railway weekend in a couple of weeks, which is always a great event. Well worth going to and if you go Saturday you can make make a railway weekend of it back with us on Sunday!

Also hope you enjoyed the return of the play area, it was good to see it back, brings some life to the park.

Good morning once again! And if you think it's been too hot over the last few days good news!

I hope you've stayed safe and enjoyed the weather but it is set to come down a few degrees today and for most of the week, down at 21 today with some cloud cover and a nice breeze.

So a perfect afternoon to see the new play area which is almost complete but mainly open (see last post) and, of course 😉, have a ride or two on the trains.

Come and join us between 1 and 4pm as usual in the park. We look forward to seeing you all.
