A quick capture of one of the massive, beautiful seagulls that frequent St Thomas’ Square in Newport. I’m always amazed by how pristine and well put together they seem for creatures who spend a large proportion of their time walking the cobbles scrounging chips

It’s been too long. Things have been hard recently. This month marks a year since my huge ME/CFS relapse last June, and recovery has been achingly slow, stop-start and immensely emotionally challenging. ME/CFS is a brutal condition. It can take everything you feel you are in a heartbeat, and sometimes all you can do is wait and hope. I’m sat at my desk today for the first time in months, and all I’ve managed to do is snap a photo of an old doodle, and I’m now ready to go back to bed. I have to remember that last week I wouldn’t have been able to do that, and see it as a win, but my goodness is it gruelling sometimes. Please feel free to send silly memes, music, podcasts, dumb jokes, drawing prompts &/or awesome art to keep me entertained 🐌
