This Sunday 7th June, we have a very special screening of Jo in the Water, including a visit and Q&A session from the filmmakers!

Jo in the Water follows a passionate sea swimmer turned reluctant activist who takes on one of the UK’s biggest water companies in a David-and-Goliath battle to protect our oceans from devastating sewage pollution. As Jo’s courage helps ignite a growing movement, this film exposes the dire state of our water system and asks: who will stand up for our right to swim in clean natural waters, for the species and communities that rely upon them? 🏊‍♀️🌊

Next week we will be showing some of the films from our Green Film Festival again! We believe that everyone should see these eye-opening stories and understand the powerful messages within them.

On Wednesday 10th June we will be screening ‘Breaking Social’, a documentary that explores how the global 'social contract' (the implicit agreement that hard work leads to a better life) is being broken by corruption, corporate greed, and structural inequality. 🌍📢✊

On Friday 12th June we will be screening ‘Power Station’, a documentary about art-activists Hilary Powell and Dan Edelstyn who attempt to turn their neighbourhood into a renewable power hub. 🎨🔋
