VICTORIOUS WEEKEND // A FEW THINGS

We LOVE Victorious weekend. We love the atmosphere, the music, the chaos… just maybe not the 160,000 people trying to get down the same road as us. 😂

But there are a few things we need to make very clear:

🚨 IF YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, PLEASE SHOW UP.

We've had people book in, decide they'd rather go to the festival and simply not turn up. Please don't do this. Our diary is fully booked and your appointment is reserved specifically for you.

🚫 NO WALK-INS THIS WEEKEND.

Tom, our usual walk-in tattoo artist, is currently in America and the rest of us are fully booked. We won't have capacity for festival spontaneity — and honestly, getting tattooed on a drunken festival whim probably isn't the best idea anyway. 😂

🧼 THINK ABOUT AFTERCARE.

If you're having a new tattoo or piercing and heading straight to the festival afterwards, think carefully about whether that's a good idea.

It's outdoors, it's busy, it's dusty, sweaty, muddy and generally not the cleanest environment for a fresh piercing or tattoo.

Your new tattoo/piercing needs clean hands, clean clothing and proper aftercare — not a weekend of questionable festival conditions. 😂

VICTORIOUS WEEKEND // AT THE STUDIO
The festival may be taking over Southsea, but Kings Ship is still open! 🖤

FRIDAY
& are in the studio as normal and is working too.

SATURDAY
Aaron is in the studio as normal.

SUNDAY
We will be recovering from Victorious ourselves and the studio will be closed. 🍻

We're all fully booked across the weekend, so unfortunately there won't be any last-minute tattoo appointments or walk-ins available.

BUT… if you'd rather make something than get tattooed this festival season, we've still got TWO Sip & Make evenings coming up before Victorious! ✨

🍒 CARABINER CHARM WORKSHOP FRI 28TH
Build your own colourful bag/key charm with charms, beads and all the trimmings.

So if your festival outfit is missing something… we might have the answer. 👀✨

VICTORIOUS WEEKEND // GETTING HERE

If you're booked in with us this weekend… PLEASE PLAN AHEAD. 🫶

Victorious Festival is less than a 10 minute walk from the studio, which sounds very convenient… until you remember that roughly 160,000 people are descending on Southsea. 😂

There will be road closures, diversions, limited parking and A LOT of traffic in and around the city.

So if you're coming to Kings Ship for your appointment, please don't rely on your usual journey. Leave earlier, check your route and make alternative travel arrangements if you need to.

We're fully booked, and being late can have a knock-on effect for everyone else's appointments.
