Our incredible instructors planned some gorgeous holiday themed classes the weekend before Xmas for our fantastic students. Using tinsel, lights and an assortment of Christmas props to create some holiday magic moments! What a truly wonderful time!

What an excellent couple of weeks it's been at The Pole Coven with our students smashing some glorious shapes and having a ball of a time while doing it!

✨ 2026 First Timers Beginners Courses are now live! ✨

The Pole Coven are excited to announce that our First Timers Complete Beginners Courses in Pole Dance & Aerial Hoop are now open for booking in January 2026!

6 week programmes that are designed for complete newbies to feel confident in core fundamental moves to take the pole and aerial world by storm. Designed to ensure you progress safely and effectively week on week with a group of like-minded beans!

Our courses are perfect for those that thrive off structure and routine with a 1 hour class being the same time and day every week for 6 weeks.

✨ Level up in Aerial Hoop ✨

New monthly class has dropped at The Pole Coven with our resident strong spinny bean 💪

Next class: Sunday 30th November 2025 at 1pm

You can expect dynamic moves, higher level flexibility tricks and transitions and of course, lots of elbow things!

For this class, you must be comfortable mounting the top bar, holding a single leg hang and being able to re-grip the bottom bar. Hold a lifted straddle and able to do a front balance mount. Pop any questions about our pre-requisites directly to Moon!

As always, we welcome students from other studios looking to diversify their practice.

✨ 2026 with .marsh 📸

We are super stoked to announce that Ray Marsh will be coming back to The Pole Coven in 2026 for a weekend of iconic pole and aerial hoop photo shoots.

📆 When?
Pole Shoots- Saturday 21st March 2026
Aerial Hoop Shoots- Sunday 22nd March 2026

📍 The Pole Coven, Unit 18 Portsmouth Enterprise Centre, PO3 5QT

Beginners can also take part in these shoots as beginner tricks are always the most impactful. Think of it as a great way to celebrate your 6 month/ 12 month etc Pole or hoop-iversary.

This shoot will be white background using a mylar sheet on the floor to create a water ripple effect on the floor and background. These look incredible for pole and aerial as it looks like you are hovering above water! We will also have the use of all coloured gels to create a pastel vibe that suits your style.

💰 Price is £140 per person and includes 30-minute shoot time and 5 edits. If you want to share an hour with someone else to get optimum time and breaks in between moves, be mindful of that when booking your slot. An instructor will be available to help you throughout your time slot from spotting, to spin you into position, handing props and adjusting garments/hair. They can also provide you with simple standing and floor poses, they will not be teaching you new tricks in this time. .

We will be offering our 'Pay in 4' payment plans again for these shoots with bookings opening on Saturday 29th November at 11am sharp. So you can split the cost into £35 per month for 4 months or you can pay in full for ultimate flexibility.
