Lillies in a jar…I’ve decided not to work this drawing any further. It’s a step forward in difficulty for me and I’ve been pleased with how it’s progressed though like always can see exactly where I’d like to improve. 😊

I’ve started painting again 😊 …first time in over a decade…probably 2…in fact under this is an attempt that went absolutely nowhere many many years ago☺️. This is a work in progress…and needs knocking back and softening, I think, but I am wondering if I should put it to one side for a little while and start another…especially as I have some wonderful lillies in a vase that are literally talking to me…as they open up, the delicate sounds of their leaves jostling for new positions in the bouquet are saying ‘paint me before I fade’😉 hmm what to do??
