Wood & Daughters are very much looking forward to being a part of Hampshire Open Studios at Making Space.

We will be taking over studio 11 where will be selling our work, where you can learn about our workshops and where you can find out all about our creative processes or just have a good chat.

We will be there 22 - 27 August 10am - 3pm

We are looking forward to Julys Craft Community sessions at Making Space

Whilst the Wednesday group is full there are still spaces on our Thursday evening session

This month we are exploring button bracelets

Mad about buttons? Have you got a button tin? Come and find out how to transform them into a simple but effective piece of jewellery so you can wear them with pride. Wood & Daughters will bring buttons along but you are welcome to bring your own stash.

The Wednesday 29 July Sessions run 10am-12noon fully booked
The Thursday 30 July session runs 7-9pm

We are thrilled to be a part of Making Spaces Prize Draw. Making Space Enter now and potentially win a bespoke crafternoon with Wood & Daughters

Making space is a charity and this draw is raising funds for all the work making space does to change lives through craft.

All you need to do is a buy a ticket for £2 or get a strip of 4 for £8 and you can be in with a chance of winning a bespoke crafternoon.

The winner would be able to invite up to 3 friends to choose a workshop of your choice.. The workshop will take place at Making Space and you will be provided with a range of cakes, pastries and some tasty treats, we will even bring out our best china.

We are so looking forward to our upcoming Craft Community workshop at Making Space! Making Space

In our June workshops we will be exploring Mark Making a Creative Process

In this 2 hour workshop explore the potential of mark to make art and design. Through prompted exercises unlock your potential and discover new and exciting ways of creating

This workshop is going to be a lot of fun. Suitable for beginners to professionals, a great way to loosen up and get markmaking!

Our morning Wednesday workshop is completely booked but there are still spaces available on our Thursday evening session

4th June Thursday Evening session will run 7-9pm

Wood & Daughters are very excited to be part of Making Space’s Make Merry winter craft fair this weekend!

Making Space

21 Friday 4-7pm
22 Saturday & 23 Sunday 11am-4pm

Our work will be in the pop-up shop alongside lots of other fantastic makers!

There will be lots of fabulous crafts and makers , open studios to have a look round, a chance to enter a fantastic prize draw, festive refreshments and jolly music

A brilliant way to start your Christmas shopping!

One of our great aims as Wood & Daughters is to share creativity with as many people as possible, sharing our skills and our passions. We have been lucky enough for the past two years to teach at Making Space a craft charity in Leigh Park. Making Space

We’ve taught up-cycling fabric into a new items, making greeting cards, macrame, making felt mitts, printing with found objects, how to draw to design and we even had a whole month where we just taught around the theme of yellow.

Our next Craft Community workshops at Making Space are Doodle Notebooks and Painted Graphic Still Life.

Doodle Notebooks runs on
Wednesday 24 September 10-12noon
Thursday 25 September 7-9pm

Painted Graphic Still life runs on
Wednesday 29 October 10-12noon
Thursday 30 October 7-9pm

It costs £10 a session
The Wednesday and Thursday of each month are the same lesson so no need to book both
