This batch of bowls has taken months to get to this stage, life has taken over and will continue to do so. I love being in the studio but I’m also lucky to be able to use my training and experience as a teacher to support my children when they needed me to. We love our new life, bowls will still be made at a gentle pace but more importantly little minds will shine ✨

Going off topic here to share a really important project that we have been working on as a family…

The Future of Bees project is a collection of children’s thoughts on the state of nature & the world they are inheriting from adults, by the pupils of Trythall Primary School. 67 children aged 4 to 11 in the heart of West Cornwall. We are making 3 short podcasts and a short film including animations from artworks created by the students.

This little animation excerpt of bees & flowers was created by class 3 (aged 4 & 5 years) and animated by the amazing Mae Voogd.
