Six weeks in, and what a whirlwind it’s been here at Pool Hub in Porth. We're all incredibly proud of what we’ve built together in such a short time.
We have already hit some major milestones that show just how much this community has embraced the space:
📈 We have officially welcomed 73 members to the club.
🎱 Our members have been busy, clocking up over 1,200 hours of table time.
🏆 We have successfully run 5 tournaments, with the 6th happening this Friday - get involved!
📻 It was a pleasure chatting with the team at GTFM radio about our journey and vision for Pool Hub.
✨ The recent Chris Melling exhibition was a massive success, highlighting the buzz for pool throughout South Wales.
🤝 We were proud to host a charity night for Brothers in Arms, supporting a truly important cause. We have more charity nights in the offing.
We are not slowing down, and we have plenty of exciting developments on the horizon:
🍔 A new, no-fuss food menu featuring burgers, paninis, and pizzas will be launching in the coming weeks. It is all about keeping things quick and easy so you can stay focused on your game.
🎈 Due to popular demand, we are now open for bookings for kids parties, starting from £10 per person.
🎱 Monday Singles Leagues are officially launching soon.
🃏 Wednesday Poker Nights are being added to our regular weekly schedule.
🥇 We have a big Double Elimination Tournament in the works, and we are buzzing to have been confirmed as a host venue for the Seniors and Masters Welsh selection tours in 2027.
We are constantly tweaking the space to make sure it remains the best spot in Porth for both casual players and the serious darts and pool crowd.
Thanks to all our members, staff, and the local community for the support so far. We have had a brilliant start, and we are only just getting warmed up.
