lly. Spectacle has a successful record for effectively delivering Issue-based Workshops with disadvantaged and hard- to- reach groups particularly in addressing sexual health, substance misuse, risk taking and keeping safe.

🎭 CASTING CALL: 2 Actors / Creative Facilitators Wanted 🎭

Spectacle Theatre is casting for our Autumn and Spring 2026-27 schools and community tour, and we're looking for two versatile actors to join our team.

You'll perform in IRL: In Real Life, a hard-hitting participatory play exploring online behaviour, peer pressure and bystander responsibility, and Ned's Threads, a brand new imaginative retelling of The Emperor's New Clothes for junior schools.

What we're looking for:
✅ A strong desire to work in Theatre in Education
✅ Ability to translate young people's ideas into performance
✅ Adaptability and flexibility with session content
✅ Understanding of safeguarding young people
✅ A genuine commitment to inclusion

Bilingual actors (Welsh/English) are preferred, and musical skills are an advantage. Full training can be provided.

The details:
📍 Touring schools and community venues across South Wales (based at Welsh Hills Works, Porth)
📅 Rehearsals: 14th September and 30th November 2026 (TBC)
🎬 Touring: October, November, January and February 2026-27
💷 Fee based on Equity / ITC terms, freelance/self-employed

We especially welcome applications from people underrepresented in the arts, and from those with experience delivering sessions with SEN young people.
