🎉 New Play Park Opens in Lack! 🌳

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to announce the opening of a modern, inclusive play park in Lack, providing a fantastic outdoor space for children, families and the wider community to enjoy.

The project has been delivered through the Outdoor Recreational Capital Programme, part of the Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan, which is transforming 10 outdoor community spaces across the district.

Designed to encourage active play, support healthier lifestyles and create opportunities for people of all ages to meet, connect and enjoy the outdoors, the new play park offers a welcoming space for the whole community. 🌈

Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Debbie Coyle, and Chair of the Fermanagh and Omagh PEACEPLUS Partnership, Councillor Errol Thompson, welcomed the completion of the project, highlighting the positive impact the new facility will have for children, families and the wider community.

Supported by PEACEPLUS and the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), with match funding from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, this investment is helping to create shared, inclusive spaces that bring communities together. 💚

We hope the new play park in Lack will be enjoyed by local families and residents for many years to come!

We are delighted to have commenced works at Gortin Community Centre as part of the peaceplus programme.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is pleased to announce that construction of a brand-new play park at Owenkillew Community Centre will begin soon.

Funded through the PEACEPLUS Programme, this project will create a welcoming, inclusive space for play, recreation, and community connection. 🌿

Part of a wider initiative transforming 10 outdoor spaces across the district, this investment will support healthier lifestyles and bring communities together for years to come.

Our much-anticipated refurbished design & build playground in Lack village, is now open to the local community! Our Jungle themed playground includes a Rope swing, a Safari jeep & new Jungle unit.🌴🦎
