Appreciation post.
As our followers seen in a recent post. A very helpful young operator had joined or team.
Young Ryan was gifted an original embroidered t shirt as a small thank you for his help in cleaning up our site.
But thats not all Ryan does.
This young man has a keen eye for detail and particularly replicating our exact structures out of the all famous kids toy. Lego.
Ryan often colour codes his blocks and organises them based on length shape and depth, exactly how we as bonfire operators orgonise our pallets when delivered. Ryan even fills his structures with broken (scrap) blocks that do not fit on his replica structure walls. Again exactly as he sees us do on the field.
He even goes as far as building his own lundy for the top and stands proud every time he does so.
You young man are an absolute gift of a person and will make one hell of a bonfire builder in the coming years.
We see this as a message to anyone out there, regardless of your background. That no matter what life throws at you. You have qualities, skills and potential to do whatever you want if you put your mind to it. And they say if you love what you do, we'll, you'll never work a day in your life.
Ryan is up there with many reasons as to why we do what we do year in year out.
See you tomorrow young fella. Tea time at the field.
