Where were you when “YOUR”people needed you?

When drug problems, addiction, ASB, homelessness and poverty have been affecting the Garvaghy Road community for years, people are entitled to ask why there is suddenly so much attention now.

Residents don’t need token visits, photo opportunities or politicians appearing when the cameras are around. They need long term investment, practical action and people who are prepared to stand with the community all year round.

The people living there know the reality on the ground. They deserve better than empty words they deserve action, resources and accountability.

If you genuinely care about the community, prove it through what you do, not just when it suits you.

LORD CARSON MEMORIAL PARADE 2026 🇬🇧

On 19th September 2026, London will once again become the setting for a day of remembrance, respect, heritage and unity as we come together for the Lord Carson Memorial Parade.

This is about more than a parade. It is about remembering those who came before us, respecting the history that shaped generations and carrying forward traditions that remain important to so many people today.

From London and across the United Kingdom, bands will come together to play their part in what promises to be a very special and memorable occasion.

One Faith • One Flag • One Heritage

A day to stand together.
A day to remember.
A day to show respect.
A day to keep memories and traditions alive.

No we're not joking. 🙃.

But we need your help, our loyal fans and followers.

Have you got, or do you know someone who may have a spare corner of a yard anywhere close to our site or Portadown.

With 2 sources of pallets available all year round. We could really do with the storage.

The yard would be kept clean and tidy with pallets being stacked and sorted as they arrive each week.

Which bands shall be attending?

This Wednesday night Ballymacall True Blues Flute Band shall be hostsing their annual parade through the Co Tyrone town of Dungannon.

The parade shall begin at 8pm from Scotch Street South Car Park and shall be led by Bloomhill Accordion Band and shall take the following route round the town :
