Postgraduate Summer Shows 2026 🎓✨

A huge thank you to our wonderful curators, Elena Crehan, Rhiannon Evans, Emily Grigg and Violet M McClean, for putting together such a fantastic show.

Many thanks to Diane Beasley for your work on the project too.

We are incredibly proud of our amazing and talented students and all they have achieved.

A special thank you to AUB Chief Financial and Operating Officer, Mehjabeen Patrick, for opening the show and presenting the awards.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Violet and Will for putting on another fantastic opening event and creating a night to remember for our students.

Congratulations to all our postgraduate course leaders and academic teams for their hard work and dedication, and once again, congratulations to all our graduating students. 🎉

Postgraduate Summer Shows 2026

The Postgraduate Summer Show 2026 formal opening tonight, brought together art, creativity and community in a memorable evening celebrating the achievements of AUB’s postgraduate students.

The event was a full house, with students, guests, staff and members of the community coming together to celebrate the incredible work on display at TheGallery.

The evening featured awards, dancing and plenty of celebration, making it a truly unforgettable event for our students to remember.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only the creativity, ambition and achievements of our postgraduate community, but also to thank them for choosing to study with us and for being part of the AUB community.

The evening was filled with talent, pride and joy, marking a special moment in the students’ postgraduate journey and creating memories they could cherish for years to come.

The Physical Muse

A collaborative project between Bournemouth Film School and TheGallery AUB

14 August – 9 October 2026

University House, AUB Campus

Presented at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) as part of TheGallery exhibition and events programme for 2025–26, this exhibition offers a glimpse into the vibrant world of live performance within Bournemouth Film School at AUB.

Though small in scale, it reflects a much larger creative ecosystem – one built on collaboration, craft, and the shared pursuit of bringing stories to life.

Behind every performance lies a network of invisible artistry. The dancer, actor, costume maker, makeup artist, technician, and producer each leave their mark on what eventually appears effortless on stage or screen.

This exhibition invites audiences to look beyond the final performance and discover the many creative layers that make it possible.
