🎺Meet the Soloist - Paul Bosworth 🎺

Paul is currently Principal Trumpet of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Originally from Leicester, he studied at Trinity College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, where he practiced both Modern and Baroque Trumpet.

Prior to his appointment with the BSO, Paul held the position of Principal Trumpet with Scottish Opera for three years covering a wide range of operatic repertoire.

As a specialist in both modern and period performance, Paul has appeared on numerous CD recordings with the Stuttgart Baroque Orchestra and has performed J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 with some of the UK’s leading baroque ensembles.

His recording career has included a wide variety of projects, among them the re-recording of the UEFA Champions League theme tune.
