Vivian Theatre School is owned by and run by Ailsa Vivian an associate of the ISTD. Ailsa has been teaching in the village of Lytchett Matravers, Poole, Dorset since 2001. Ailsa, an ex-professional dancer and mother of 2, is well experienced in dealing with children of all ages. Ailsa started dancing at the age of 4 and by the time she was 10 had already danced in several professional productions and pantomimes, winning numerous awards of outstanding in local and national dance festivals and competitions. At 17 with major examinations achieved in ballet, modern and tap she started her career in the dance world, working in several theatre`s UK and abroad with top choreographers and head line artists.
