The Gallery Upstairs at Upton Country Park Situated within Upton Country Park, above the tearooms, The Gallery Upstairs is a non-commercial gal There is ample pay and display parking available.

The Gallery is Open Daily, except during exhibition changeovers, in line with the opening hours of the Tea Rooms.Generally 10.00 until 5.00 pm. The Gallery is situated above the Tea Rooms in Upton Country park. Admission is FREE and there is full disabled access via a lift. For times of individual exhibition, please see our website www.thegalleryupstairs.org.uk. From the car park please follow the signs to the TEA ROOMS and GALLERY.

Poole Leisure Painters was founded in 1981 with a dozen like-minded artists, led by Mary Daler, who went on to found Daler Rowney with her husband.
We are a diverse group, from beginners to experienced artists, who enjoy painting and socialising.
We use all mediums: watercolour, acrylic, colour pencils, graphite, pastel, charcoal and more!

'Art in the Park'

An invitation to join us for a relaxed day of painting and drawing in the lovely surrounds of the country park.

In addition, other attractions include;

Our judge is professional artist Kim Day, winner of Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2025
Demonstration by Kim at 12noon
Prize giving at 3.30pm
Ongoing demonstrations of different brands of art materials, including Caran d'Ache, Sennelier and Faber-Castell.
