Some commissions stop you in your tracks.

This is one of them. πŸ—‘οΈ

A client came to me wanting something genuinely special for their wedding day — not a ring, not a card, but a Celtic sword. Specifically, a replica of a La Tène period weapon, hand-carved wooden sheath included, with both their names and wedding date inscribed in Ogham text.

Ogham is one of the oldest written scripts in the British Isles β€” carved in vertical lines along the edge of stone or wood. To have it carry the names of two people beginning their lives together felt like exactly the right call. Some things deserve to be written in the old way.

I've made a lot of pieces over the years, but there's something different about a wedding commission. It's not just an object β€” it's a witness. This sword will be in that household long after I'm gone, long after most things are forgotten. That thought doesn't leave you when you're carving it.

Everything here is hand-carved, hand-finished, made by one person in a workshop in Wales. No shortcuts. No machines. Just time, tools, and a lot of respect for what this piece represents.

To the couple β€” congratulations. I hope it serves you well for the next thousand years. βš”οΈπŸ»

If you've got a commission in mind β€” a wedding, an anniversary, something to mark a moment worth marking β€” drop me a message. If I can draw it, I can carve it.

Even Loki would've left a five-star review. πŸ›‘οΈ

This beauty was one of the first shields I ever made and it popped up in my memories today, the reaction I was sent almost 4 years ago still made me smile this morning.

"I actually gasped. My husband cried a little. He says it was the wood smoke."

Hand carved, no shortcuts, no CNC. Just a bloke in a garage making things people apparently cry over.

If you've got one of my original pieces of mine, drop a photo in the comments. I'd love to see where they've ended up. βš”οΈ

This man has clearly got his priorities right. βš”οΈYes it's me! I gave up a 6 figure corporate salary 2 years ago to chase my dreams and I haven't looked back once!

Fire lit. Kettle on. Handcrafted gear doing exactly what it was made for.

Odin didn't conquer the nine realms from a desk chair, and neither should you.

Got a piece of mine out in the wild? Tag me. I want to see it. πŸ”₯

I just finished someone's actual dream mead hall. πŸͺ΅

Sarah reached out a few months back with a simple brief: she wanted her garden to feel less like a suburban patio and more like somewhere Odin himself might pull up a chair.

Fair enough, honestly.

She wanted a full set. Two tables, a bench, and a handful of carved pieces to bring it all to life. An owl for wisdom (her words), a bird for her late mum, and a few abstract shapes that, in her words, "just felt Viking."

Every piece is hand-carved from locally sourced wood. No CNC, no shortcuts. Just tools, time, and a lot of man glitter (sawdust).

Sarah's already sent me a photo of it set up in her garden with a horn of mead on the table.

If you've got a space that needs a bit of Viking soul, drop me a message and let's talk. πŸ›‘οΈ

There's something about a set of hand-carved drinking horns that just feels right. βš”οΈπŸ»

Each one of these started as raw horn β€” destined for landfill β€” and ended up carved, polished, and ready to raise at a feast. That's the part people don't always think about: I use bone and horn that would otherwise go to waste. Sustainability doesn't have to mean boring.

Every horn in this set is carved by hand. No lasers, no CNC, no templates. Just me, a Dremel, and a design drawn freehand before a single cut is made. The result? No two are ever identical. Which is exactly the point.

Whether you're a reenactor, a collector, a pagan, a DnD player, or just someone who thinks drinking from a horn is objectively more satisfying β€” I've got you covered. πŸ›‘οΈ
