FIREWORKS CONSULTATION - IMPORTANT!!!

If you use fireworks in the UK, please spend 5 minutes filling in the government's online consultation into regulatory changes here:

The government WILL make changes to firework law soon.
We WILL lose some fireworks.
BUT, if enough members of the public who enjoy fireworks fill in this short consultation form and express their feelings, the government will listen to the majority and limit the changes accordingly.

Do you want rockets banned?
Do you want Roman Candles banned?
Do you want a noise reduction?
If the answer to these is no then FILL IN THIS FORM TODAY!

Ignore this form and you will not be able to buy the fireworks you enjoy in the future, it's as simple as that.

Be PROACTIVE, do not sit this out and wait for your enjoyment to be taken away! Do not think that others will fill it in so there's no point you doing so. This is UP TO YOU!

Looks like things are very quiet over on the anti-firework groups. No posts since January!
Funny how every November these people bulk email MPs saying fireworks are a "year-round" issue when in reality it's a week in November and always has been.
I guess they are still in hibernation until November where they can get all riled up again, surprised that a British tradition that has endured almost 1000 years is still as popular as ever! 😂

With only 37 days left of 2025, we’re preparing to end the year on a high for the community of Whitley and surrounding areas @ George & Dragon - Whitley 🥂🥳

We’re so excited to announce we will be working alongside the George & Dragon again to deliver another spectacular firework display as soon as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve!

Event details are as follows, however more information can be found on the event link below:

🎟️ - Free entry
🥁 - Live band from 7pm
🍽️ - Food served 12pm until 8pm

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 - Families welcome/no time limit on under 18s however ID checks will be carried out where required.

🎇 - Fireworks will commence at midnight
🕑 - Closing time 2am
