🎭🇫🇷 Allo Allo 2 🇫🇷🎭
Well… what a run! After another record-breaking production for PDG, Allo Allo 2 has officially come to a close — and what an unforgettable week it has been!
From the very first curtain up to the final standing ovation, this show has brought laughter, joy, chaos, and plenty of questionable French accents to everyone involved. The energy backstage, front of house, and out in the audience every single night has been nothing short of incredible, and we honestly can’t put into words just how much this production has meant to us all. ❤️
A huge THANK YOU goes to every single person who helped make this show possible. To our amazing backstage crew keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, our brilliant front of house team welcoming audiences with a smile, our talented cast for bringing the madness of Allo Allo to life night after night, and of course — our wonderful director, Mr Buck. 👏
Mr Buck has been part of Polegate Dramatic Group since the very beginning — nearly 60 years ago! Generations of performers, audiences, and productions have benefited from his passion, dedication and endless hard work over the decades.
It is with sadness that we share the news that Allo Allo 2 marks Mr Buck’s final show as director, as he officially hangs up his directing hat. 🎬
While we are sad to see this chapter come to an end, we also feel incredibly lucky and proud to have had such a huge part of PDG’s history shaped by him. His contribution to the group is impossible to measure, and we know so many people will have fond memories of working alongside him over the years. Thank you, Mr Buck, for everything you have given to PDG — you truly are part of the heart of this group. ❤️
