Pocklington Singers We are a friendly choir of around 60 members
Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7.00pm - 9.00pm We have a Musical Director and a rehearsal accompanist.

We are always keen to welcome new members and currently have around 50 members, split between the four main voice parts. Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings in All Saints' Church, Pocklington, starting at 7.00pm and ending at 9.00pm with a short break in the middle. We normally perform at least two concerts each year, generally in Autumn and Spring plus one at Christmas and these are usually

held in All Saints' Church, Pocklington. Anyone wanting to join should contact: -

Whilst we do not hold formal auditions, you would be invited to have a short one-to-one session with the Musical Director to discuss any previous experience and make sure you will be comfortable with the material and level. You should be able to read music at a basic level. There is a choir committee who meet regularly to plan future concerts. Current Membership Fees are £75.00 per annum with a concessionary rate for anyone who feels unable to pay the full amount, students are free!
