First sitting on a large tribal cover up piece started recently! 🤩

I often get asked to help clients with 'impossible' cover ups. Pieces that other artists or studios have told them can't be done, or need many sessions of laser before they would even consider it.

I love working with cover ups, and while I'm not naive to believe that 'anything can cover anything', but, I completely believe that we can work on a design that can cover anything.

This Samurai is the first piece on a large scale full sleeve cover up design, and shows this point well.

It can be daunting when I say about using lighter colours or shades to cover darker pieces, but if applied correctly, we are able to not only give you a cover up, but we can give you a piece of artwork you'll be proud to show 🥰❤️

I am always looking to work on cover ups, so if you have an old tattoo you'd like covered or fixed, give me a message to book a free consultation to discuss your ideas.

I can't believe it's been TEN YEARS this month that I have been tattooing! 😃
When I look back on everything that has happened in this amazing journey that started in June 2016, I honestly can't believe how much has happened, and yet, it doesn't feel like I've been doing it long enough. I still get so excited to work on your artwork, and I still look forward to going to the studio every day and doing what I love!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been involved in my journey! From the very beginning with Ink Marked in Northampton, to West Coast in Blackpool, and everything in between that has led to my dream studio in Plymouth with Craftsman Tattoo Company ❤️🥰

I'm so proud of the team at Craftsman! And to everyone I have worked with, and every client that has helped mould me into the person and artist that I am today, thank you! I'm so proud of everything I have achieved and I couldn't have done it without every, single, one of you!

I recently had the pleasure of welcoming a returning client back to Craftsman and we added this absolutely adorable Mew to their sleeve 🥰❤️

I really enjoyed bringing this piece to life, the colours are so bold it looks like a sticker 😊

Forearm cover up piece crafted recently for a returning client.
I worked with my client on a previous cover up for their arm and we have now added this Elephant over an old tribal tattoo.

With this piece I wanted to use the shades and give the impression the Elephant was emerging from some foliage and trees into the light.

I really enjoyed playing with the shades and textures and it covered the old tattoo so well! 😃

Large scale cover up pieces done recently 🥰

I recently welcomed a guest to Craftsman to help them with a large scale cover up.
They had some tribal, and flowers they were happy with, but a previous attempt from another artist to turn the tribal into lace hadn't been successful and subsequent artists had told them it was uncoverable.

Which is where I come in...

They asked if we could cover it up with a Leopard and after looking at some references we settled on this design as it moves and curves beautifully with the shape of their hip ❤️

As you may know, I love working with colour cover ups, but they were looking for a black and grey version, and I was happy to accommodate 🥰

I honestly love how well this piece has covered the three tattoos beneath and given her a piece of artwork they said they can't wait to show off!

I would love to work with more cover ups and have some designs I would love to work with. So if you have a tattoo you'd like covered, please give me a message 🥰❤️
