You may have noticed the slight rebranding…

Due to unforeseen circumstances The Woodside Pub is closing on Monday (13th Jun 16) with no plan to re-open. A big thanks to Jason for backing the quiz and for giving free rein on the quirkiness front.

So, anyway, this quiz will reappear somewhere at some point. I mean, it has to, right?

Spaghetti towers and origami cranes are fun, but we haven’t even competed with balloon dogs*, face paints or the ‘What’s that cheese?’ rounds. Plus there's a whole bag of prizes remaining which, yes, does include cat food but also some rather nice Cadbury’s chocolates.

Catch you somewhere in the future.

We’re looking forward to seeing you later for another fun-filled evening of quizzing, prizes and paper-based larks. Papers available from 8.30pm with Q1 bashed out at 9pm sharp – pow!

Up for grabs tonight:

2nd place: Tepid moderately-firm cash
3rd place: Wine (red or white flavour)
4-17th place: Mystery prize from the Bag ‘o Bees (ranging from a bona fide Toblerone to gourmet cat food)

Alongside general knowledge wrangling, we’ll be testing your knowledge on a round entitled ‘Where’s ‘e to?’, a picture round that does not include Nicholas Cage’s face (see picture), a music round with no audio and an audio round with no music. Get on!
