My next door neighbours have 2 sons.
Once they are at home, you must know.
Those boy are little overcharged bundles of energy and noise🤭
From loud rough plays, to fighting and crying 🤭

Fight every morning before school.
Fight every night before sleep.
Their poor mother will be shouting like a rugby coach once her gentle parenting fails, which is usually every time.

Once they start,
I can clearly hear every thing each person is complaining about,
Which as expected is usually very silly things.
I go just de laugh for my apartment and quietly praying for their mother🤣

Oga will just wait until they are about to tear the building down before he’ll separate them.
And then the crying will grow apart and slowly quieten down into softer sobs until peace returns.
Before the next round.

I hardly see them except from their kitchen window when they are making meals.
But each time I randomly jam into them when leaving for work, I can see the 2 rats in very cute school uniforms whose voices travel through the entire street, and I always have to force myself from laughing out loud.

They always remind me of my childhood.
Growing up with 5 boys of which 4 were younger than me;
I always wonder how my mother survived raising us.
I wonder how she never lost her voice with all shouting of our names.
Trust me, saying something once hardly worked🤦🏽‍♀️

My dad was different.
He warns and cautions and allows your cup to overflow. But if it overflows, blo.od will flow.
Usually, the fear of the day his hand will touch you was enough to give you wisdom.
I guess that helped.

I look at my mother these days and chuckle at who she has become. The grandmother my nephews and niece know, is not the mother we knew.
Her life must be easier now that every one is grown.
Well, almost everyone.

I often wonder what the stars have in store for me.
Daughters or sons?
Both?
Them go de hear word? abi na engineering curious minds that will loosen all the appliances to see what is inside 🤦🏽‍♀️
Do I have the patience and strength?
Me that peace of mind wants to wound like this.🙆🏽‍♀️

I just hope military schools will remain in existence when I finally decide to have kids.
Because any child that stress my life will get a one way ticket to the farthest one🤭
Unless, their grandma still has strength to raise more kids, then voom, automatic waybill.

I did not kee my parents, nobody will kee me😤🤧

Meanwhile,
My adulting involves putting some weight on that I now have loose clothes I previously had to reduce to fit me🤭🤭
I won’t lie though,
I’m loving every inch of it.🥰
