My brother told me a story about when he went to karaoke recently and heard a guy with an amazing voice! He complimented him on his singing and bought him a drink, they chatted for a bit before it was my brother’s turn. In his own words, he doesn’t have a good voice (I disagree) but he sang Talking to the Moon by Bruno Mars and this guy jumped up on the stage with him and started duetting! He would’ve never had that awesome experience if he hadn’t let himself enjoy a bit of bad singing just for the fun of it!

What. A. Day!

A stunning wedding at Rumleigh Farm the loveliest hidden gem of a venue! I did not expect to cry so much - how could I not when everything was so beautiful, from the location and decor to the vows and a ceremony full of all that love💞

While the guests arrived I played a fun mix of Queen, Elton John, Oasis and more 🎵 the bridal procession was a medley of When I Grow Up from Matilda the musical (flower girls), Sugar by Maroon 5 (bridesmaids) and Bon Jovi’s In These Arms (bride). It’s hard to imagine but they worked really well together! Then we had the You & Me song by the Wannadies while everyone filtered out for confetti.

Holly & Luke, it was an absolute honour to be part of your special day 🤍 wishing you a lifetime full of the love and laughter that you showed today.

Had a little family walk on the moors this morning after doing a test drive to the venue I’m playing at tomorrow!

Can’t believe my first professional wedding gig is less than 24 hours away 🫣 I’m about as prepared as I can be and actually feeling quite excited! I’m pushing through the nerves with the motto “feel the fear and do it anyway” - it’s got me further than I ever thought possible ☺️

On Sunday I’ll be at Rowan House again and planning to play lots of my favourite Dolly Parton songs. The world will never be the same, she truly left it so much better than she found it.

Going into this weekend with Dolly’s ambition and her love of life and music 🩷🎵
