Musical Theatre Group - Plymouth University A Musical Theatre society at the University of Plymouth Having been a sizeable presence at Plymouth University for nearly 25 years (formed in 1992).

MTG are a society dedicated to bringing students of all different backgrounds and ages together through performance. This includes our excellent shows and showcases, in-community concerts and busking! All this, whilst having the most fun (probably) anyone can have in a society! Interested in joining? Now that the news is out we can’t wait for the year ahead and hope you are just as excited as we are!

Greetings travellers far and wide! MTG is thrilled to be putting on a production of ‘Shrek’ in March 2027!!

Since it is a big production, we are looking to put together a creative team, professional and non-professional!! We're looking for the following roles to be filled:
- Director
- Musical Director
- Choreographer

Now for our final lot of committee announcements! We have the absolutely crazy yet wonderful Julia joining committee as our fundraiser! He was the star of the show playing Brit in WWRY or more like Brit played Julia 😂. We are sure they are going to put the FUN (and more) in fundraiser 😉
