Well today marks the end of our visit to Paignton Zoo and to this years running season, we would like to thank all the people that travelled with us throughout the year and at Paignton Zoo. We look forward to welcoming you all back in the new year, but for now it is time for servicing and running repairs.

Ready for day 1 at Paignton Zoo. We are here for the 2 week half-term

Due to the high risk of heavy rain this afternoon we will unable to attend Plymouth Miniature Steam today, this is a difficult decision to make but we have to in to count the safety of travelling public, staff and rolling stock its self.

Today we took delivery of our new miniature railway trailer with thanks to Martin Pears Engineering Ltd for excellent service. This will help us keep growing next year and make with some of larger events easier. Next stop sign writing before the start the next season. 🚂

Over the last couple of months we have been busy with the miniature overhaul of one of our Ruston 2 locomotives named Beckee, here are some photos of the work so far. As the final colour is a closely guarded secret that will be revealed on 18th March.
