The Strength of Spirit Games – The Rehabilitation Triathlon is underway on Plymouth Hoe🏊‍♂️

Competitors are taking part in the challenge on the Hoe and Tinside Lido - Plymouth Active, watch as participants take on the swim, bike and row events in an inspiring display of strength and spirit!

The Junior Rowing Challenge is also underway on Plymouth Hoe with more than 20 schools taking part in the event, come along and show your support for everyone taking part!

The scene is set for the Strength of Spirit Games!

Come along and watch serving personnel and veterans go head-to-head in the Rehabilitation Triathlon, hosted by the Royal Navy, featuring demanding swim, bike, and row challenges.

Earlier in the day, more than 20 primary schools will take part in the Plymouth School Sports Partnership Junior Rowing Challenge, happening on the lawn next to The War Memorial from 10 onwards.

The Strength of Spirit Games - The Rehabilitation Triathlon returns to Plymouth Hoe tomorrow.

Show your support for the incredible participants in this Tri-Service adaptive recovery event for personnel in recovery and a cohort of Service Veterans who will compete in swim, bike, and rowing events. Witness their unwavering determination and commitment in this truly inspiring event which begins at 9am.

Also taking place tomorrow as part of the event is the Junior Rowing Challenge organised by the Plymouth School Sports Partnership This exciting event will have pupils from over 24 primary schools competing in the demanding rowing challenge.

Come and cheer them on from 10am to 11.15am with their awards ceremony taking place on the main stage at 11.45am.

All participants and spectators are advised to dress appropriately given the high temperatures and bring plenty of water and sun cream.

Ruckus Festival Plymouth will bring two packed days of live music, great food and family fun to Brickfields on 3 and 4 July.

Friday will feature the likes of L1NKN P4RK, Stiff Bizkit, Ten Years Too Late, while Saturday’s line-up includes The Hoosiers, rePunK’d, The Busketeers, Andy Quick and more. Expect a buzzing festival atmosphere, with local food vendors, fully stocked bars, a kids’ zone, and on-site parking.

The Arcade at RWY Royal William Yard is now full following the latest shop to open - The Tipple Cellar! 🥂

The Tipple Cellar stocks over 500 spirits – including more than 200 whiskies, one of the largest selections in the South West – alongside wine, beer, fine foods, cocktails and a fridge stocked with cheese and caviar.

It joins an array of other businesses which have opened in the Arcade over the last year with the likes of Natural Source Grocery, The Pop-up Market, Nala's Pet Co, Pebble and DockSide Coffee Bar among the venues to discover at the waterside shopping outlet.

Get ready for an evening of Rum and Reggae in Plymouth City Centre this Thursday 25 June!

Taking place from 4-8pm at Old Town Square, the event will be a teaser of what people can expect when the Rum & Reggae Festival arrives at Home Park Stadium on Saturday 11 July.

Included in this Thursday's event is live reggae music, Caribbean inspired BBQ wings from Turtle Bay, rum tasting and cocktails from Vault53Rum, competitions and more!
