It was a true privilege for me and the team at the Woolwell Centre to host the wake for Brian.

Having worked closely with him, I know just how much this centre meant to him. He was a dedicated servant to the community, always leading with such integrity and kindness. It was clear to everyone here how deeply he cared about this building and the people it serves; his presence was always a welcome one.

I am truly honoured that we were able to support his family at this time. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, family, and all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed.

📢 Calling all home-educating families!

We are pleased to be hosting Home Ed Play & Connect at The Woolwell Centre. Join this group for a relaxed, child-led space where children can play, explore, and socialise, while adults have the chance to connect. First session is Monday 29th June.

✨ The Details:

When: Mondays, 10:45 – 12:30.

Where: The Woolwell Centre.

Cost: £4 per family.

Ages: Aimed at 10 & under, though all ages are welcome.

Each week features a different nature theme to inspire curiosity, including sensory play, tuff tray activities, and crafts. After the session, the group often stays on for a picnic lunch at the park (weather permitting) or joins others in our cafe.
