This autumn Flax Project CIC and friends will be exploring the history and
future of natural fibre nets and ropes in Plymouth. Can we bring them back?
Can we help to reduce the number of ghost nets?
There will be a net making competition, workshops, stalls, demos & more.

As the children head back to school this week, it can be a big change for lots of families.

A gentle reminder: behaviour is communication.

Some children will tell you they’re worried, tired, overwhelmed, or struggling.
Others will show you.

So if you’re seeing big feelings, short fuses, tears, or shutdowns, try to pause and seek understanding before reacting. A little extra patience, reassurance, and kindness can go a long way.

Be gentle. With them, and with yourself.
