Phoenix Chorale

Phoenix Chorale Formed in 2011 and based in the South West, the Phoenix Chorale hosts two concerts each year with a truly varied and exciting programme.

Phoenix Chorale are now becoming well established throughout Devon. Delivering two formal concerts each year, the choir are fast broadening their repertoire and are capable of competent performances from any genre from over the last 400 years. We are a non-auditioned choir but expect members to have a good musicality and basic understanding of choral singing.

What a fantastic concert last night - we are still buzzing! Thank you as ever to our talented and eternally patient accompanist Mark Smith 👏 Thanks also to our amazing soloists Jessica Farrow and Mark Hounsell, and our superb instrumental ensemble who made the whole evening come to life with a BANG! Under the steadfast batons of both Giles Clayton and James Parkinson we performed to best of our ability and thrilled the audience, who gave a lengthy applause and fabulous feedback. Thank you so much for coming to support us and making it an evening to remember 👍🤩 🎵

🔵 We are taking a summer break now, but our new term starts again on Monday 7th September when we welcome any new members to an Open Rehearsal and we take a first look at our exciting Christmas programme🎄So, if you enjoyed last night, why not give us a try? A warm welcome awaits 🤗 ☕️ 🍰
