Another productive couple of hours at Creative Roots Plymouth on Tuesday Mornings.
Today:
Embracing drawing and painting with watercolour paint and pencils.

Supporting anyone effected by cancer. (You, a friend and families)

☕️Plenty of creating, sharing, caring, tea n biscuits.

Lots of ideas for the coming weeks to get creating with different mediums and of course Christmas planning! 🎄

A super busy week at Creative Roots HQ…. A complete studio overhaul opening up the community space beautifully…. Tuesday morning our cancer group got the water colour paint out and drew and painted flowers together…. Wednesday morning the photography group was at Burrator taking photos and then in the studio for a few hours…. Thursday taking rag rugs, reusable sanitary wear, hygiene bags, knitted children’s clothes and much more more to PUMA 🇺🇦 (Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid) to support people in Ukraine…… Friday our new crochet, knit and natter group met and talked about future projects… and some of the photography group popped in to try a portrait idea…. A busy but fantastic time meeting new people and welcoming old friends into our amazing community creative space….. Looking forward to watching Creative Roots slowly grow and share more of our creative ideas…. Enjoy your weekend everyone 🥰

Teri and I popped into 🇺🇦PUMA 🇺🇦 (Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid)to drop off more supplies and makes.

Included were donations from Belliver Coffee Morning and knit n natter group. ❤️🧶☕️
They created some beautiful baby clothing, hats, scarves and blankets.
Bought brand new underwear, hats gloves toiletries
Candles, wraps and blankets! Wow!

From our group, many handmade bags, all our fabulous famous sanitary pads, some medication, lots of clothes, hats and blankets.

We were delighted to know that they really want more crochet rag rugs as they have matched these to children in schools and needed 8 more!!!

Well, how do you think we reacted to that?!!! 🧶❤️🫣

Puma need more, so please 🙏 donate or come and help make some bits.

❤️A Big Thankyou for our team of makers at Creative Roots. Ladies and Gents we did good. You are all amazing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed our ‘process’ and look forward to every second we are being creative together again 😊🤗
