Welcome to our new followers

Just a bit of an history and update on the choir

We are The Music of the Night Choral Foundation also know as The Music of the Night Choir

We have been singing as a choir for the last 14yrs we became a choir after most of the founding members were part of The Music of the Night show which was held in the Royal Citadel between 1992-2012

Our Musical director is Claire Anderson who has been part of the Choir since it starts but as the choir’s accompanist but for the last year has been our new Musical Director and has made such a difference to the choir

We are a range of ages and we don’t mind if your of the older side or younger !

We do sing a range of songs but as of our history we do a lot of musicals but we do add some different things for everyone

We hold 3 concerts per year one at spring one in the summer and one at Christmas

Previously we have sung at a care home and have sung carols two years in a row at Derriford Hosptial which have been a great success

We meet on Tuesdays 7.30-9.30pm at Mount Gould Methodist Church in the main church area

We are currently on week 2 so any new members are welcome any questions please don’t be afraid to ask

Just to share some news of the choir !
Yesterday some of our wonderful choir helped to sing in the one day only musical theatre charity event show which was raising money for a huntingtons disease charity
Those who took part said it was a wonderful day and those who missed it really did miss it !
So pleased to be able to get our name out there in the community and help to raise precious funds xx
