The National Lottery thank you from WonderZoo

We are very grateful to the The National Lottery for the generous funding they have given us since 2020, allowing us to create projects that have positively benefited our community and changed lives.

We have had funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for two historical projects, Celebrate Respect - History Project - archiving the 26 years of Plymouth Respect Festival, an important multi-cultural annual event in Plymouth; and Hidden Figures of Plymouth project, highlighting the achievements past and present of people of the Global Majority in Plymouth.

We have also had funding from National Lottery Awards for All - for community workshops, inspirational talks and activities that bring people together to create lasting friendships.

We are blessed that so many organisations have supported us along the way in the work we do.

A huge thank you to National Lottery players, without whom this would not have been possible.

“Killer Queen”

We had a Fab evening last night for “Killer Queen” at Manor Street Galleries! A night of comedy, music and magic, part of WonderZoo's Storyteller Festival.

Headliners Pete “the Temp” Bearder was just pure magic and out of this world, it was funny, intelligent and very touching set that was just electrifyingly and T.S. Idiot took the night by storm with his Punk poems a spoken word sensation.

Killer queen hosts Josh and Robin where sometimes outrageous and have a special magic that is fresh to the comedy scene of the South West.

Thanks to all the other artists that took to the stage, which included the super talented Cristina Varga who was just simply brilliant.
