Pitlochry New Year Street Party - The Pitlochry New Year Street Party committee would like to thank everyone who joined us on the afternoon of January 1. Once again, the event was a tremendous success, showcasing Pitlochry’s unique blend of Highland hospitality and placing the town firmly on the map as a brilliant destination to toast the year ahead. Despite a cold breeze and the occasional flutter of snow, visitors from near and far came sensibly wrapped in hats and scarves - dancing enthusiastically to the cèilidh, with music from Andrew Knight and the West Telferton Caledonian Dance Band - enjoying a cup of hot mulled wine, and soaking up the sights and sounds The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. We are grateful to all the local businesses, community partners and volunteers whose donations, support and hard work make this event possible.
Looking forward, the committee will continue to work with local partners whilst also exploring options for additional professional event-management support. As numbers increase, our aim is to ensure the Street Party thrives for future generations, while continuing to raise thousands of pounds for local charities and community groups. This year’s raffle draw was a huge success, with many delighted winners collecting fantastic prizes. Thank you to all our amazing donors — without you, the Street Party would not happen. We have been unable to contact two winners, so if you hold raffle ticket numbers 4257 or 3601, please get in touch.

An absolutely tremendous performance as always from The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band - with the flutters of snow just adding to the goosebumps felt watching this brilliant reel. Thank you, Scotland Online ❤️

Raffle tickets are available for purchase on Hogmanay at the Pitlochry Drinkmonger and throughout New Year’s Day on Atholl Road - contactless payments will also be available on 1st January 2026 at the entrance to Fishers Hotel.

As we approach the New Year, the Street Party organisers are keeping a close eye on the weather whilst making sure all is in place for a successful, safe and joyous celebration 🎉. The event will take place from 1 - 4pm with the lucky raffle tickets being drawn from 3.30pm. Additional parking is available at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre and the local business park (///fetch.questions.kiosk). Safe travels to all those travelling to Pitlochry - we look forward to welcoming you 🥳
