I am the founder and organiser of Pirbright Art Club & our FB page was set up to showcase our artists

PIRBRIGHT ART CLUB was started in 1999 by art tutor Maggie Read, as a way of continuing art sessions for her students during the long breaks between Adult Education terms. Since then, it has developed into a thriving and successful club with a reputation for excellence in the presentation and quality of work on show at it's exhibitions.

Visit this stunning exhibition which includes works by several artists from Pirbright Art Club: Maggie Read, Steve Wells, David Drury, Nina Klein and Ingrid Skoglund. Maggie, Nina and Steve will be stewarding on Tuesday 16th (Maggie 1 - 4pm) Great place to bring your friends and have lunch too!

Pirbright Art Club will be at Pirbright Village Fair! Come and visit us at our exhibition tent 🎪 - many fabulous original works of art for sale! Framed and unframed paintings, prints and cards! 🎨🖼️

Several of our members are taking part in this exhibition including myself, Anthony Shelton, Steve Wells, Ingrid Skoglund and David Drury.
There is a Private View on Saturday 10th from 2 - 4pm and all paintings are reduced by 10% for invited guests! Consider yourself invited!! See you there!

Some photos from beautiful Cornwall where I’ve been running a Painting Holiday - scenes are from our various painting locations - all around the Mevagissey area. We’ve had wonderful weather almost every day for a week!
The group were all from Sweden and will all be returning home with wonderful memories - they have been amazed by the scenery and impressed with our English weather! The art wasn’t bad either!! 🤣

The Railings Exhibition - our summer show - took place in glorious weather last Saturday alongside the Pirbright Horticultural show.

Many of our Exhibiting Artists group brought their paintings to hang in an outstanding display of work!

This is a village event and everyone looks forward to it. It is a social and relaxed exhibition for our members too….
