We can’t wait to welcome Stylusboy aka Steve Jones in a couple of weeks time. We’ve been fans of Steve’s for a few years now and we’re delighted when he accepted our offer to come down from Coventry.

As Stylusboy, his warm hearted indie folk lies somewhere between Damien Rice and Nick Drake, and he has sold out shows at the likes of the Green Note in London.

Was it only a week ago that we had the mighty Polly Gone Wrong come to visit? What a fantastic night of harmony and creativity it was.

And also a big shout out to Polly Morris for coming up from Dorset with her fantastic story of cannibals meeting the Human League.

Next up, on June 25th, we close out our Spring season with Kate Griffin of Mishra and Matchume Zango from Mozambique, which should be very special too.

Oh but we can’t wait for our next Session on 21 May. The mighty Polly Gone Wrong return to Petworth: three voices, one book, a sheet of wrapping paper and a bucket load of brilliance.

They’ll be joined by Polly Morris who also comes highly recommended: “the secret love child of Bill Bailey and Victoria Wood”.

Next Wednesday, the Sessions team are all going for a great curry. Would you care to join us?

Sanjay & Mili of Meghdoot's Mystique Masala are hosting a special dinner in support of the Sessions. They're donating 20% of takings from the evening to support live music in Petworth. It's a lovely thing of them to do, and if do come out, do come and say hello.

What a wonderful night we had a week last Friday when Kathryn Willams and Memphis Gerald rolled into town with their beautiful songs and lampshade collection.

Speaking personally (this is Alan), I couldn't have asked for better guests on the day that I lost my mother. I'm so glad we managed to go ahead.

Thanks to all of you who keep coming along and making these nights special.
