We’re thrilled to be taking part in the Petersfield Musical Festival once again, and even more excited to be sharing the stage with the wonderful SouthDowns Camerata. This special concert celebrates British music, including works by local composers Flint, Osgood, Macauley and Timossi. We can’t wait to perform for you.

On Wednesday 18 March 2026, Gemini Consort and SouthDowns Camerata join forces for Sorrow and Joy at the Petersfield Musical Festival. This special collaboration celebrates music inspired by the South Downs, featuring works by local composers Lucy Flint, Dorry Macaulay, Clive Osgood, Steve Sargent, Peter Thompson and Alessandro Timossi, alongside British classics by Finzi, Holst and Elgar. Exploring themes from love and nature to grief and remembrance, the programme blends spiritual, folk-inspired and richly lyrical works, including premieres written especially for this concert. A powerful celebration of place, creativity and collaboration.

🎄 A Christmas Celebration with The Gemini Consort 🎶

Join us for a festive evening of music on Saturday 6 December at 7.30pm at St Peter’s Church, Petersfield.
Enjoy Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, alongside seasonal works by Holst, Kodály, and Rutter - plus a beautiful new piece by our very own Lucy Flint.
We’re thrilled to be joined by local harpist Kate Ham, whose playing will bring an extra touch of Christmas magic.

✨ Free admission!
All proceeds from the retiring collection will go towards covering event costs, with remaining funds donated to The Rosemary Foundation.

A Winter Offering

As always, the concert includes a wide range of music, from
traditional Wassail songs to works by Poulenc, MacMillan and Monteverdi. From lullabies to early seasonal carols, this is music for those encroaching winter months.
