🌈💚 And just like that, our journey down the Yellow Brick Road comes to an end! 💚🌈

What a fabulous show week it’s been! ✨🎭

HUGE congratulations to all our wonderful children (and adults) who have worked so hard to bring The Wizard of Oz to life. You have filled the stage with talent, laughter, energy and so much heart, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you! 🥰👏

So much hard work, dedication and teamwork goes into putting on a show, and it’s been amazing to see it all come together. A massive well done to everyone on stage and behind the scenes who has played a part in making this show so special. 💚

The friendships made, the memories created and the magic shared are what theatre is all about. ✨

Now it’s time to rest those voices, put your feet up and give yourselves a huge pat on the back. You’ve been AMAZING! 🌟 🌪️🌈❤️

A small selection of photos to follow during the week! 🙂

✨ What a fantastic day of auditions! ✨

Our Peter Pan auditions at The Cresset on Sunday went brilliantly, and after a long, busy day we’re delighted to have our two teams of young performers in place! 🏴‍☠️🧚‍♀️🎭

It was wonderful to see some familiar faces returning, but perhaps even more exciting was seeing so many new faces coming through the doors. We know how daunting an audition can be, so a huge well done to every single young person who took part — you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

The audition panel certainly had some difficult decisions to make with so much talent in the room!

For those who weren’t successful this time, please don’t be disheartened. Not getting a part doesn’t mean you weren’t good enough — sometimes there are simply more talented young people than roles available. Keep practising, keep performing and, most importantly, keep auditioning. Every audition is an opportunity to learn, grow in confidence and come back even stronger next time. 💙

We’re now looking forward to welcoming our new Peter Pan family and meeting everyone again when rehearsals begin later in the year.

A huge thank you to everyone who auditioned, and to all the parents and carers who supported them.

Welcome aboard, Peter Pan! 🏴‍☠️💙✨

Over the last two nights, we’ve had the pleasure of being in attendance at the children’s ensemble auditions for The Wizard of Oz at The Cresset — and what an incredible level of talent we saw! 🌟🎭

The standard was exceptionally high, and the audition panel certainly have a very difficult job ahead of them. Every young performer who auditioned should be extremely proud of themselves for the confidence, energy, and commitment they brought into the room.

It’s fantastic to see another Cresset production continuing to support and showcase the talented young people of Peterborough and surrounding areas, giving them valuable opportunities to perform and develop their skills on stage.

A huge well done to everyone who auditioned, and to The Cresset for continuing to invest in young performers✨
