“I’ve been to a lot of local gigs, but Katie’s performance was something else. Her voice is so natural and full of emotion, and she has that rare ability to make a whole room stop and listen. By the time she finished Bobby McGee, people were on their feet and there were genuine tears in the audience. An unforgettable night.”

“Considering this was Avery’s first ever stand-up show, she was remarkably comfortable on stage. Her stories are personal, wonderfully awkward and genuinely funny, and she has a way of making the audience feel like they’re in on the joke. It’s exciting to see someone at the very beginning of their comedy journey, especially when the room is already responding so well.”

“Such a lovely, intimate evening at Willows. Karen and Christine have a beautiful way of combining music, stories and spoken word, and the whole performance felt very personal. Christine’s voice is gorgeous, and the songs gave you a chance to slow down and really listen. A peaceful, thoughtful change of pace from the usual night out.”

“Lorraine has such a natural presence on stage. Her performance was warm, engaging and full of character, with a lovely connection to the audience throughout. It was wonderful to see another local performer given the opportunity to share her work in such an intimate setting. A thoroughly enjoyable Fringe experience.”
