A few more... trying to make the most of the sunshine before more rainy weather comes.

An osprey was hovering for a while, but I had fun watching the Merganser and chicks. They were fighting the tide trying to get back up the river. Their little legs were working overtime, but they made it!

After getting up at the most ridiculous time to watch Scotland win (woo!) I thought I should make the most of it and get out for an early morning walk, to see the sunrise and enjoy being out with nature.

The Dawn Chorus was outstanding and worth it for just that...but me being me, the quick walk turned into 3 and a half hours! After bumping into a fellow photographer, who helped me up and down the steep slopes (its great fun having terrible balance...thanks Dunc!), I felt very lucky to see a few kingfishers (although a little too far for my camera to get a clear photo), a beaver having his breakfast, a sandpiper, song thrush, wagtail and some mushrooms, amongst other things.

It was so peaceful, and perfect weather too.

Another quick walk today, 3 hours later...

Thankfully avoided the rain! Really windy so although I did see 2 Osprey, they just did a flyby.

Lots of smaller birds today, and heard a lot more that I couldn't get a clear shot of. Also had a squirrel striking different poses for me (there were 2 of them, but one was camera shy!). Also had a Reed Bunting, very talkative, and was quite happy to sit for the photos.

How exciting, business cards and magnets have arrived!! What other photos should I add to a magnet photo strip? Kelpies...

Managed a lovely walk today despite being full of cold.

Got caught in a couple of crazy torrential downpours, but totally worth it to see cygnets, ducklings and cootlings (who have the look only a mother could love!)

Went out for a little walk after the rain finally stopped this evening, thought I'd stop by and see if the beaver made an appearance, and he did! Never had one get so close to me before, only a few feet away. I took a little video of the rustling, you can just see him at times.

It's lovely to be able to see things like this so close to home :)

Went for a quick walk this evening and 2 and a half hours later... I wanted to stay for longer as such a lot of activity...

Went for a quick walk this evening and 2 and a half hours later... I wanted to stay for longer as such a lot of activity this evening from beavers, the osprey, lots of juvenile birds and spotted Mira (the lovely doggie!)

The osprey did dive today but I didn't see it catch a fish. It put on a lovely display for me though :)

And the beavers, not what I expected to see at 6pm!! It stunned me for a while and my terrible photos of it show that I wasn't prepared!

Heres hoping for more evenings like this for a while 🙏🤞

Another order of cards has arrived!

Getting ready to do a stall at the end of the month.

But, I had to show you this... how cute!

Don't forget, all my photos are available to order as prints, cards or anything else you fancy!

And once I finalise my Christmas card designs I will be taking orders for those too!

Had a lovely visit to the Japanese Garden near Dollar today where the rain held off just long enough for us to get round...

Had a lovely visit to the Japanese Garden near Dollar today where the rain held off just long enough for us to get round. And they have a fab cafe full of vegan goodies (and lots of non vegan too!). Here's my favourite pics from the day.
