Notes from the former Yugoslavia that I framed recently.

The notes devalued so much that in the end, approximately 10 dinar became 500 billion!

Each note is float mounted onto a blue velvet mount. Then they have been mounted behind a raised hayseed mount. All behind anti reflective glass and with a Langham mono frame.

I framed this today in collaboration with Michaella at Popfox Interiors.

Originally framed in a simple black ploycore moulding, with the print against the glass.

Reframed with a hunter green and hayseed mount, with chunky, langham mono moulding and gold sight edge... a real statement piece now!

Framed here in a double frame, the inner is a bevelled off-white and open grain frame, the outer is a micro tech veneer from Larson Juhl. 4walls by Larson-Juhl UK

This superb and detailed print from the Fallout series, framed with a hand finished solid walnut moulding. I dovetail joined, sanded, sealed, sanded again, and waxed the black walnut frame to a beautiful finish.

Framed with optically clear acrylic as the owner has a feisty wee cat prone to the zoomies! We were worried the cat might target any glass!

I framed it with a black spacer, and installed micro sawtooth hangers on the back to keep it straight and flush to the wall.

Don't worry, this isn't the frame! :)

The frame package shown here is sealed with P90+ acid free tape. I do this on all my frames where I can. It keeps the little corn bugs out (thrips), and helps to protect the artwork. Should the worst happen and the picture is dropped, the tape also helps to keep the glass contained.

Lucy Sherry is known for her amazing attention to detail with her printmaking, her work has a wonderful narrative for the viewer to explore, often with a subtle sense of humour!

Large A1 painted prints by Su Grierson, experimental and always pushing boundaries - Su's work can be seen at Grinneabhat on the Isle of Lewis, where these are on display until the 23rd of May.

I framed these prints to a set size for Su, as they are part of a series.
The prints are hedgehog mounted onto thick mount card, in a sturdy but elegant 'domino' style, open grain white frame by LION Picture Framing Supplies Ltd. Deep spacers, glazed with 3mm acrylic, and moisture resistant backing.
