We are Currently Looking For Drivers
We are delighted to introduce you to our Virtual Trucking Company (VTC). At The Tayside Group, we pride ourselves on fostering a professional yet welcoming environment for all our drivers.
Every new employee begins their journey with us in the 'Trial DAF XD,' which typically lasts 7 to 14 days. This period allows us to assess your progress and ensure that you feel comfortable and well-integrated into the team.
Upon successful completion of your trial, you will transition to 'General Haulage.' As you grow with us, we are pleased to offer a 'Premium Livery' to represent The Tayside Group on the roads with pride.
We require a minimum of '1,000' miles per month from our drivers. However, we understand that everyone has personal commitments and responsibilities. Our approach is flexible and non-pushy; your well-being and enjoyment matter to us. Regular mileage updates benefit everyone, helping us maintain strong communication and team cohesion. If you anticipate any period of inactivity, simply let us know. Keeping us informed ensures we can support you better.
We ask all drivers to maintain a maximum speed of 62 MPH during company jobs. This standard ensures consistency and contributes positively to our leaderboards on the drivers' hub. While we understand that mistakes happen, consistent over-speeding or excessive 'race miles' will lead to termination from the company.
Our Discord is the heart of our community, where drivers and subcontractors share truck photos, journeys, and experiences. It’s a friendly, supportive space for laughs and collaboration. We encourage active participation and the sharing of your delivery photos, which may also be featured on our official page. A keen eye for photography is always a plus!
If you’re new to PC gaming, Discord, Euro Truck Simulator, or ProMods, there’s no need to worry. Our team is happy to provide technical support and guidance whenever needed.

It is with great Sadness that I write this message here as ive only just found out myself that Phil Perkins Passed away in May 2025. Phil was a amazing man and he was with The Tayside Group Vtc for a short period of time but his presance was well know in our VTC. He wasn't just known for his His trucking he was also know to ment others in the iracing community. beyond the Simulator world he was also known as Mista P DJ in the Disco community. Away from all that he was a Husband,Friend,Brother and a grand father.
We Tayside Group Vtc Will miss you Perkins (AKA Grandad AKA Mista P DJ. Race Fast up there big man till we meet again.
