Thanks to all who attended our club last night, we had a brilliant time with our guest artists -
Michael Philip and his 6 Piece Band.
Our supporting players as always gave us great variety and that part of the evening was finished off in style with a stramash led by NAAFC Chairman - Iain Cathcart. Our thanks to our resident musicians - Marissa Bryce on piano and Arran Philip on drums.
Michael in his own inimitable style gave us two full sets of music, recitations and memories from as far away as Wick to right at the centre of his heart, Cardenden.
Michael was joined by James Coutts on second accordion, Margaret Robertson on fiddle, Graham Berry on piano, Suzanne Gray on double bass and Malcolm Ross on drums.
Michael was also honoured to be chosen as Perth’s Supporter of the Year 2026, for all that he does to help at each of our events.
Our guest artist of the year as chosen by the public was Wayne Robertson and we were delighted to be able to assist the NAAFC in gaining over 30 new individual members who will now benefit from many of the discounts and opportunities that it presents them in the future.
We look forward to our next event on Tuesday 18th August when we have our Trilogy evening featuring 3 of the country’s best musicians - David Vernon, Ryan Corbett and Johnny Duncan.
