✨ Christmas Commissions for Memorial Pieces and Resin Beaches Are Open ✨

This season, give a gift that holds a lifetime of love. Be it to yourself, or someone special.
“Cremation Ashes Memorials”
I create custom resin beaches made with a tiny pinch of cremation ashes, a gentle way to honor a loved one (people or pets) as a forever treasured memory forever.
“Your Beach” Memorials
I can recreate your special beach, honeymoon shores, a childhood coastline, your pet’s favorite spot, or the beach where you said “I do.” I’ll match water tones, add soft foam lines, and finish with subtle shimmer. (If you have a pinch of sand or a tiny shell from that beach, I can include it, where legally permitted.)
What I make: All sizes of art. Your resin beach will be a 3d replica of somewhere or someone special, each designed with you and handcrafted with care, and the utmost respect. Optional extras like framing are also available at cost.
Holiday bonus: 🎁 Each Memorial order will receive a special gift for your Christmas tree. Using a very small amount of ashes, your free decoration will be a little reminder of that person or pet, to have them close at a time that is all about family and friends.
How it works (simple & respectful):
We chat about your beach (name, photo, or coordinates), colours, and layout.
You receive clear instructions for safely sending a very small amount of ashes (and optional sand/shells).
I handcraft your piece, keep everything labeled and secure with respect, and always return whatever ashes are left.
Holiday timing: Limited Christmas slots, please book early.

Back in the studio after a well needed bit of time off, and I couldn’t wait to share the details of this new piece! Hopefully I’ll manage to get some better pictures of the finished article tomorrow if the sunshine decides to return to Cornwall.

Katey Meeks .k8s

I'm a self-taught resin artist based on the wild north coast of Cornwall. My creativity is deeply rooted in nature — from the shifting tides and windswept cliffs to the soft tones of sea-worn stone. I find inspiration everywhere, and I like to think that sense of wonder comes through in every piece I create.

I discovered resin art during the 2020 lockdowns, and from my very first pour, I was hooked. Unlike traditional painting, working with resin means embracing movement, texture, and unpredictability. Each pour takes on a life of its own, forming organic patterns that can’t be replicated, which means every piece I make is completely unique.

All of my work is handcrafted in my Cornish studio with the individual in mind. Whether it’s a centrepiece for a home, a wall panel, or something more unexpected, I love the challenge of creating something that reflects the personality and story of each client. No two commissions are ever the same, and that’s exactly how I like it.

Working on a very different colour scheme today for me! There’s literally nothing better than getting out of the studio on a day like today, surrounded by nature, beautiful colours, tunes blasting and just doing what I love doing. Now if only I could figure out a way to do resin outside without getting stuck to the garden 😂

“Neptunes Lagoon” sparkling in the beautiful Cornish sunshine today. 1.2m of layers and beautiful textures, this piece has so much depth through the layers. I’ve picked up and put down this painting so many times, but I’ve finally had the time to tweak all the final details and I’m now happy. The next few weeks I’ll be finishing these collections and I’m so excited to launch them!

You can beat the magical Cornish sunshine to finally get some website shots! Still to be named but this is a whopping 120cm round board and is packed full of beautiful details through several layers. All my new pieces will be available on the website soon!
